Worcester and the environment

We have a full environmental policy, and have taken many actions to protect our environment, educate and inform.

Environment 2020

This series of awards were started in 2000 in order to engage installers/heating engineers, house-builders and children to think about the environment. Awards are given out each year to all the worthy winners and a gallery of previous awards can be seen by following the link. We have many fabulous examples of the art competition winners and all our winning entries hang in our board room at our head office in Worcester.

Bobby the Boiler

We have created a book which can either be downloaded or sent to your home free. This book has an engaging story about bobby the boiler who becomes upset when Solar Sam joins his home - only to find that they can live happily together. The book has energy saving tips that children can act on, a wordsearch, spot the difference and colouring in.

Worcester and the community

As the largest private employer in Worcester and Clay Cross we know the importance of being involved in our local communities and further afield.

Charity Work

We support local and national charities each year and our employees decide who to support. In the last six years we have raised over £100,000 for good causes.

We raise the money by holding raffles, dress down days, charity football matches, mud-running, sponsored bike rides and cake sales.

Books to Schools

We have sent each primary school in the UK a Picture a Greener Future book and Environment 2020 art competition leaflet with the commitment to provide a book for each child in their school.

We support many art activities including Worcester Live - Swan Theatre and Huntington Hall.

Chamber of Commerce

We are patrons of the Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.
